And the beat goes on!
Nov 16, 2010
I had my 3rd appt on 11-16, I did not get a fill because I think I have good restriction. I say I think because sometimes I feel like I can still eat a little more than I should. I lost 6lbs since my last visit, not a lot, but considering that I went out to dinner a couple of times and drank more than I usually do, the lost was good.
For me this journey is slow but still moving in the right direction. I am going on vacation(help my sister after surgery on
11-19-10) so I will really work on what I eat and try to add exercise somehow.
And the beat goes on!
Progress so far!

Well, I had my 2nd fill on 9-28-10. My first fill was in April, and I did not follow up even though I did not have good restriction. I lost some weight over the summer and managed not to gain one pound. I of course know it is because of my exercise program.
So, I am looking forward to seeing the numbers on the scale go down and not just the inches.
I have been using this forum as my total support, but when I went for my appt yesterday I found out they reinstated the support groups. I will start attending them, (they were totally cancelled right after I had my surgery). Support groups are very important.
Anyway, happy losing to all my friends and lets keep supporting each other.

8-5-10 How will you move your body today?
Aug 05, 2010
IF I may, I have borrowed this from Nana on the lapband thread. I hope she doesn't mind. I have found it to be very helpful. The thought is encouraged each day to move our bodies toward weight loss and not just by what we are eating. I plan to walk 2 miles @lunch time today. I have a track near my job, that I am very grateful for. I won't be able to go to the gym tonite, I plan to work a little OT$$. So what are your plans?
