 I can not believe how fast the scale is moving!!!!!!!!!!! This must be a dream......or I died in surgery......or these pain meds are REALLY strong 
17 lbs in 6 days, I mean is that even possible?????? I reweighed myself many times and DH was there to see it, over and over he saw it!!! LOL 
It almost makes me not completely hate clear liquids and jello!!!!!!!! 

The day didn't seem real. I woke up at the right time, mental alarm clock thing....   Got to the airport in more than enough time, got through security fine. Good flight. Arrived and was picked up and drove into Mexico. Got to the hospital and was swept up in a whirl wind of activity! 
I was prepped, tests run and in surgery within the hour!!!
Surgery went well, I guess.....

Afterward I had a lot of pain and not real good pain control. Something they gave me caused an allergic reaction so I was swollen, red, itchy and covered in a rash!!!! Real pleasant.....they had to give me steroids and benadryl and figure out what caused it. I still don't know what caused it!!!!
Pain control post op was fairly poor. They kept giving me and others Toradol only!!! Whis is like injected ibuprofen, not effective!!! I got very angry and demanded adequate pain control. I have been an RN for 18 yrs and will not sit by and suffer or let others suffer like that. 
When it came time for discharge to the hotel for one night they did not give me any bandages for the open site where the drain was or any REAL pain killers!! I made arrangements to purchase some real pain killers on my own and the doctor wound deliver them to me at the hotel when he came that afternoon to change my bandage. I paid another $50 for that med and only got enough to get me through the next day!!   
My bangage was soaked and about to explode everywhere so I called down to the hotel's desk as instructed and asked them to please reach the doctor immediately. No doctor......  I IM'd my husband (couldn't call no cell service there) and gave him numbers to call on my behalf to get a damn doctor there. First call he made, no answer and response or action. Second number I gave him he was able to get a hold of someone and he was so angry he told them they had 30 min to get to my hotel and change my bandage, give me medicine and supplies or he would start calling the American authorities!!! I love my darling hot head!!!  He said he felt he had to go to that much of an extreme to get their attention. Thats kinda sad, huh? 
The hotel it's self was beautiful in everyway with excellant service. I was very happy about that part at least. 
I left for the US and the airport on Saturday at 1130. I had to wait til 340 for the plane to even board. Nice flight in all. I was happy to come home. By the end of the day I was soooooo exhausted!!!! Walking all over huge ass airports was more than I was ready for at that point and I couldn't find any help or wheelchair or anything anywhere!!!!! 
Saturday I woke up with chills and sweats! UGH>>>>
Sunday, miserable, no pain meds!!! Finally I got a ride to an urgent care and brought my surgery report with me (DH was working). The doc there was WONDERFUL and gave me good pain meds!!!  So now I am feeling a bit better but trying to not do too much.... and now we work the sleeve and watch the band.....

 Well, pre op I was really very excited, not scared at all. I had a hard sleeping the closer it got! I cleaned and rearranged everything in the house. Eventually I ran out of things to do!! I even did all the stuff I always put off and don't want to do! LOL
