Post surgery- Day 2

This is Jennifer's sister, updating her blog for her.  She had her surgery yesterday morning at 8.  She came through it successfully and was taken to her room around noon.  She had to be catheterized because of the anesthesia and was very nauseated until late last night.  While she is feeling a great deal better today, she is still struggling and I'm sure she would LOVE to hear as many encouraging words as possible.  She was prepared for this but I think actually going through it is harder than anyone (but you all) could imagine.  She has been able to get up and walk several times today and is drinking 2 oz of water and 1oz of protein every hour.  She sleeps a lot due to the medicine but is feeling much better when she is awake.  Again, any words of encouragement you could give would be SO appreciated.  Hearing it from people who HAVE been in her shoes is better than any of us could do!  Thanks so much and we will keep you posted! :o)
