I am really thinking about weither to have the lap band or the roux n y (sorry if I misspelled it).  I am wanting to become pregnant in a couple of years and I was wondering which one would be better.  I am concerned if I have the rny that my stomach will expand and then I will be back in the same boat.  I know with the lap band they can go back and tighten the band.  But I really haven't heard of sucess stories.  I have a friend who's husbands ex wife had it and she has to go to ER every few months with severe stomach pain and I for sure don't want that....but they said that she did loose a lot of weight.  So if any one can give me any pointers I would appreciate it!  Thanks!!
