Okay so I am one week away from my surgery and apart of me can not believe it is so close and another part of me wishes it was today. I have to go Wed. to nutrition clas and pre-register, and meet with Dr. Miles, I am going to start my liver diet shrinking diet today, I don't think I have to until Wed. but the nutritionist told me what to eat and so I am going to go ahead, and make sure that thing don't get in the way, it can't hurt anything for me to go ahead. Well I am outta here for now I will try and post again before I am banded, ttyl and God Bless...Jess

Been awhile again,but I got great news yesterday, after 1 year of trying to get everything in order my file was sent to my ins. co at the end of Jan. and I was approved on the first try. I am so excited my surgery is scheduled for March 2nd. I praise God and give him full credit, I was ready to throw in the towel a few times, but I turned it over to Him and He always comes through.

Ok so I have not been on here in a long time, but just to update, my surgeons office called Sept 30th and was going to schedule my surgery after she sent in my pre-op diet results to my ins, co, but could not find one for May. I officially found out in June that I had to do the pre-op diet so when I went in March and April I was weighed and my pcp suggested a diet, but Idid not go in May so I can not count those months so I still have Oct. and Nov. to go, but things are looking up so keep praying for me, and I am sorry to my friends for not gettign in touch sooner, I hope you are all doing great, God Bless...Jess

Today I go back to my pcp for follow up on diet plan, and tonight I go to the sleep study, at least progress is moving forward and steadily, if not slowly. God Bless...Jess

Okay well I had some more labs done because of elevated trigycerides and cholesterol and I had to get them down for my PCP to give me the consent for surgery, they came down drastically and he is supposed to fax the letter today.  Also I have a sleep study on July 10th and they also added me to there cancellation list.  The going may be slow but at least it is going. Well I have been to the seminar, my initial appt. at the WLS center, support group, sleep apnea dr. and now I am waiting to get an appt. for the sleep study.  I was also informed that I will have towait and do the 6 month supervised diet, aurghhhhhhh. Oh well I can wait, 6 months will come whether I do it or not so I may as well make it productive. I will post when I find something else out. I hope everyone is doing great and God Bless you!
