I am 30 years old and have been overweight since I started working at Baskin Robbins when I was in high school. I know now that I was supposed to be giving customers their ice-cream and not be eating it but I didn't get that memo! My weight has flucuated for the last 12 years and has finally topped off at 285...... That is so horrible to say or write! It makes me sad that I have allowed myself to get this way. I am hoping this journey ends with me losing weight and becoming an example for my 7 year old daughter. She is truely a blessing and I do not want to lead her down this path that I have taken. If this surgery can prevent that and show her through my example, then it will have been a success!
