i am so excited!! i went to my psych eval today and dr. morgan came to the conclusion(which i already knew) that i am doing this for all the right reasons..MY HEALTH!! and not for vanity reasons,or to please anyone else..so he cleared me for surgery!!! yea!!!!!! now i am 1 step closer to a healthier,thinner me.. :> i thank you all for your support.it means a lot!! good luck to all of you here at whatever stage you are in.. happy holidays to everyone!! :> jeanne/ca.

HI AMOS FAMILY..I AM REALLY EXCITED..JUST 41 DAYS AND A WAKE UP TIL I JOIN YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE.. IT'S BEEN A LONG,HARD ROAD TO GET APPROVAL..BUT I WON MY SECOND APPEAL!! I GO FOR MY PSYCH EVAL NEXT THURSDAY,THEN ON THE 30TH I GO FOR MY ULTRASOUND OF MY ABDOMEN.PRE OP TESTS AND BLOODWORK ON THE 8TH OF JANUARY,AND THEN BAM!!! JANUARY 16TH AND I'M A LOSER!!!! THAT'S NEVER SOUNDED SO PRETTY..LOL... I WANT TO THANK ALL OF YOU HERE WHO HAVE GIVEN ME AND MY NIECE LISA SUCH GREAT SUPPORT. I WISH ALL THE VERY BEST FOR EVERYONE HERE,AND THE BEST OF THE HOLIDAY SEASON.. MAY THE LORD BLESS US ALL.. :) CONGRATS TO ALL POSTIES.BEST WISHES TO ALL PRE OPS HAVING SURGERY.AND TO ALL WHO ARE WAITING/FIGHTING FOR APPROVAL-DO NOT GIVE UP..THE LORD LISTENS.. Jeanne, Hi!! Thanks for writing!! I am doing well with 7 days behind me....still have the staples so I am still fighting sorness, but each day is a little better....as far as why I had to go "open" when they had stared "lap"....they said that my liver was in the way and they could not get to where they needed to be.....and that's ok....it's not the way I was hoping to do this, and I won't kid you...Monday and Tuesday I hated "everyone" who came into my hospital room because I hurt!! lol.. but now, I'm very glad I did this, and just as soon as I can go on a "soft" diet and have a scrambled egg, I will be "flyin'"! lol Good luck with your journey also.....thank you for your well wishes!!
