frustrated!

Well i am very frsutrated today. I did call the surgeons office and finally someone called me back, but i did not get the answers I have been waiting for. They said that I have to meet with the psych for 3 more sessions-- group sessions-- before they can schedule the preop visits and they won't schedule the surgery until I pass all the preop stuff. Well I understand the passing all the preop stuff but this stuff with the psych is for the birds. Because I said I do or should I say DID do some emotional eating-( who doesn't?) I have to continue these group preop sessions. I have already added exercise to my daily life, I have also already changed so much as far as my eating habits. I have lost 25 pounds preop- what more do they want me to do???? I just have really been on this and am so ready to have my surgery and have made so many changes i am not really sure what they are expecting me to get out of these group sessions, that i have not already made changes of in my life. GRRRRRRRRRR. Well thanks for listening, I will go to these sessions but the next one I will talk with the Doctor and see what more is expected of me. I really am very frustrated with all of these hoops-- necesarry I realize but seems like others have their surgery with out all of these extra hoops. bye for now.
