This is the first step on the journey toward my new life! I am so excited about the possibilities that I will realize once I am healthier. I have been overweight all of my life (went on my first doctor prescribed diet at 9 years old). It has been an uphill battle every day and it's gotten harder to fight as I've gotten older. But now, I'm hoping that lapband will make the impossible possible, and that I will finally gain control over my body.
