Today I weighed in at 165. I've been holding there for about a month. I went to the doctor last week and I need to start taking my vitamins more often (ok, everyday) and need to drink more water and coffee doesn't count. I'm very tired all the time right now but they think it's due to the fact that I'm not eating correctly or taking my vitamins. Halloween was very hard on me with all the candy, so I'm a little worried what is going to happen with all the holidays around the corner. I'm going to be attending a lot more support groups so that I don't go down the wrong path. Kids are keeping me very busy and now I have the energy to keep up with them. Still don't have the "sex" drive people said that I would get back after surgery I just don't feel like it, now because of the skin before I didn't want to because I was fat. I have to get over it and soon. I know I look great! and I have lost a lot of weight.

I can't believe it's been almost a year since I had the surgery. Well I'm down 108 lbs and went from a size 28 pants to 8-10 and from a 3X shirt to 12-14. What a life change this has been for me and my family. I have so much energy and I like walking pass a mirror and looking at myself. I love to walk and run with the dog and there would have been no way that I would have ever done that before the surgery. My kids notice it too, mom has more energy and we are always on the go now. I never thought that I would be saying this, but I have to start learning to "maintain" my weight so I don't keep loosing. At my heaviest; I was 315 and looking back I never will be that way again. The day of the surgery I was 283 and today I'm 175. I would like to lose about another 10 lbs just so I can fit comfortably in a size 8. Eating is going really good, I can eat almost anything if I chew. I find that I'm about to eat more "bad" things but I'm trying to stay away from that kind of stuff but I have some days where I need something sweat, but instead of the whole box or bag I only need a few and then I'm satisfied. This is still the best thing I have ever done!
YES I DID IT!

I forgot all about updating my profile, so a real quick update and I will add more when I get some time. First I'm down 91 lbs and I'm in a size 10-12 pant and 14 in shirts. My starting weight was 283 and I'm now at 182. Still have about 20 lbs more to go, if not a little more, but at 5ft 9in I don't want to look to skinny (who would ever thought that I would be too skinny). I have this new job and I have no extra time to exercise but just last month we got a puppy so I'm walking her when I can. My twin boys are now three and love being outside so I can't wait until this summer so I can enjoy being outside with them and actually playing with them instead of sitting there watching them play. My daughter is going to Germany this spring and so I'm always running doing something so she is ready (shopping, and I don't might doing that now too). A couple of months ago I ran up a $900 bill from shopping getting all new cloths (I needed them, right?). Well, until next time, take care.

Time sure flies when I'm having fun. I have lost 74 lbs and feel great! I'm in a size 16 pants and 16/18 shirt. I can cross my legs now, sleep without snoring, breath better. What a difference this had made in my life. I have the saggy butt and arms problem but with the holidays here and a new job I don't have time to exercise. Starting the New Year no more excuses and I will make time. I still have a hard time with eggs so I have sworn them off for a long time, but I can eat almost anything else. I don't eat breads and I love cooked vegetables now (who would have known they were so good) I hated them before and now I can't get enough. I have lost a lot of hair and I know that I need more protein, and I'm working on that. My skin is really dry, but I don't get in enough water, I'm working on that too. My goal was to weigh 199 by Christmas, but it doesn't look like I'm going to get there, but I'm sure close and that's all that counts at this point.

It's been three months and I'm feeling great! I've lost 50 lbs and went from a size 28 pants to 18, and shirts were XXL 24-26 and now I'm wearing XL 16-18. I have so much more energy and I feel happy again. People around me say that I'm not as grumpy, but why should I be, I'm on my way to being thinner. I still have a way to go, and there are days I feel like crap, but it soon passes. I wish that I would have done this sooner, but then it's better late then never. Right??? I still have to take some recent pictures so I can see the weight loss, because yes, I'm buying smaller cloths, but I still see the fat me in the mirror.

Have some exciting news, I started in a size 28 pants and I just went and bought size 20 jeans. They are a little snug but I can zip them up and still breathe. I went to the doctor and I have lost 10 inches from my waist and 6 inches from my butt. My weight now is 239. I haven't been in a size 20 since I was in high school, when I got married 11 years ago I was a 22-24 so my husband hasn't seen me this skinny. I still can not eat eggs I tried again today and they come right back up so I not going to be trying them again for a long time. I'm still walking 4-5 times a week and I'm going to start looking for a personal trainer because I need someone to help me work problem areas and I'm thinking that if I have someone to motivate me then I will keep going and not just do things that are easy. Still no regrets about having the surgery and I'm loving my new body.

Just a quick update I’ve lost a total of 33 lbs and two pant sizes now weigh 250. I feel a lot better and have more energy. I’m outside more with the kids and I bring them for walks more often. My friend Jody that had the surgery the same day has lost more weight then I, and that is a little depressing, but I keep telling myself it doesn’t matter as long and I keep loosing weight. I started walking during my breaks and at lunch. I also started taking the stairs at work; and I work on the 5th floor, by the time I get to the 5th floor I’m winded but each day it gets a little better.

Well I did it! Had the surgery two months ago and was in the hospital of 6 days because of some problems with vomiting. The tube that went down my nose into my stomach wasn’t all the way down so it wasn’t sucking the blood and what ever else it was suppose to suck out so I threw it up and ended up getting a pulled stitch. That was the most painful thing in the world I thought I was going to die. After 3 ½ weeks and being medicated so I didn’t move around that much (I slept most of the time) it healed it self. It’s been a very long time since my first post but I’ve been busy working on losing weight. I still know I have a ways to go.
