Today I got the call from Lou at the bariatrics dept. at Kaiser. She said they were having trouble filling the Oct. class and wanted to know if I wanted to come in early. I said "Heck yeah!"  I've been waiting for 3 months and finally it started. I finally feel like I am getting somehwere!

So, I went to orientation today at Kaiser. I don't really know what I was expecting but I was let down a little bit. It was so boring and the lady running it did not hear well so we all had to repeat our questions. We watched a 10 min video about what the Rny was and very little about the band or sleeve. the only good news was that there might be a hospital in my area contracting w/Kaiser for wls. Now, I get to wait up to 6 months before I can even get into the class. Ugh!

Well, I finally got my packet in the mail. I had to call Kaiser and remind my PCP to put in the referral. So, today I got my packet and called the number. The receptionist was a little hard to get a hold of but I got an appointment set for orientation on July 27th. It seems like it's along time but the end of the moth will be here before I know it.
