Wow what a strange trip it has been. I just got home from three weeks in ICU with a leak and infection to my sleeve, I have never been more sick in all my life, I had  three surgeries in  three weeks, My first surgery was to get the sleeve on Jan 5th 2009, Everything seemed fine until I started having pain. On my side and stomach. I knew something was wrong. I went in and was told I had a whole in my sleeve and needed surgery again to remove infection and add a feeding tube and try yo repair the hole. We waited another week to check to see if it was healing and try and get the infection to come down but in the mean time the Dr, noticed that the lining between my lung and back muscle was filling with fluid, I had to have it drained and it relieved a lot of pain and was able to breather better. After that second week the leak was still there so we went back in for another surgery to put in a stint that goes in my stomach and esophagus to let it dry out and try and heal, It should come out in two weeks, They also had to add another drain tube,
So  I'm glad to be home and walk with out all the IV's  and hope to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks God for great friends and family. Thanks for every ones support.

1. Loose enough weight to want to purchase new cloths and not keep wearing the same outfits over and over.
2. Get my butt small enough so my undies don't ride up.
3. Loose enough weight so I can wear high heal shoes without my pinkie toe screaming for help.
4. Gain healthy eating habits so my dog doesn't think every time I get up I'm headed to the fridge for a snack for both of us.
5. Feel confident when I walk that I don't feel like I look like I have 2 hams fighting in the back of my pants.

I set my WLS date for Jan 5th, 2009. I just had to say that out loud. I haven't told very many people. I am scared to death.
