"I attended 2 seminars while waiting for surgery apporval. I just chose randome seminars and both times they were with Dr. Dyer. So it was meant to be and I am glad he was my surgeon. He is very informative and takes the time to tell you everything, give you tools to use, makes sure you don't have any questions before surgery and makes you feel at ease. During my stay in the hospital he visited me daily and was not just in and out. He was truly concerned about how I was feeling and always asked if I needed anything. During my consults and post op visits he always explains how important it is to use all the tools, not just my new tummy but the nutritionist, the exercise physiologist and the psych dept. They are all tools that go hand in hand. His bedside manner is very professional. He is all business upfront but then relaxes and give you a smile and lets you know you are doing great and is concerned if you have any needs that aren't being met. I was looking for a great surgeon not a best friend and that is what i got. I will always recommend Dr. Dyer if anyone needs a referral. His office staff are always so nice and friendly, they are always eager to help and are compassionate and very professional. I rate my experience a 10+.
