Hello All

I have finally reached the century club weight loss of 105 lbs.  I am now 140 and a size 4-6.  I had never in a million years expected to go this low and feel this HIGH!!!  Although my journey with lapband wasn't successful and caused serious medical problems for me, the sleeve conversion is the best thing I ever did for myself.  I feel great and in many respects look better than I ever have.  I don't ever remember feeling "sexy" but I guess the inner sexy came out of me and my husband, children and friends reep the benefits of how tremendous I feel.  I virtually have had "NO" complications with sleeve.  I play tennis 2 x a week now and much better now that I can move.  The one thing that amazes me is how often I get "your too skinny" said to me daily.  I have never had the word "skinny" in my vocabulary and am not used to it.  Too thin, I don't think so...............I still don't recognise the girl in the mirror but like her.  I have some water, and vitamin issues, like I don't do it.........and I feel shakey all the time, and probably because of water and vitamins.  Anyway, for you newbies, congrats and enjoy the journey, I certainly have enjoyed mine.!!!!

I have finally reached my first goal of 165 and on my way to my second goal of 155 at a weigh in of 163.  i'm so happy i cannot begin to express the joy.  My goal for 2009 is too TIGHTEN UP!  I'm so grateful to my sleeve and Dr. Beltre for everything and look forward to a happy healthier 09.

Well, It's been 4 plus months and I'm feeling and doing great.  I've gone from a almost size 22 to a 14.  My weight loss is slower than I'd like but I haven't been to perfect with the plan.  I am continuing to loose and I'm ecstatic about where I am.  I now fit into all my tennis outfits, my shoe size came down a whole size and all my rings need refitted.  I play tennis two to three times a week and do weights sometimes.  Really I don't focus on food anymore.  The sleeve was definetly designed for me and I really appreciate the term " I love my sleeve" more than anything now.

I had my operaton Wenesday and all went extra good.  Although my surgery took 4 hours long, I still don't think I'm experiencing anything differently than anyone else.  My back felt like it was gonna break but it's better today.  The liquids suck but I'll get the mushies soon.  My next weigh in is Thurs so I'm hoping to join everyone on the bench. No turning back now!

Looks like the date is sceduled.  All I have to do is meet the nutritionist and I'll be heading towards the hospital.  They were gonna scedule me the 29th but that is my birthday and I want to be able to have one last BIG piece of cake.  Pretty sick huh?  Oh well, gotta enjoy the 49th this way, and my 50th will be celebrated skinny, yes!!!  So wish me luck all, I am friggin freaking out but excited to start on my new journey.
