"My first impression of Dr. P was \"she knows what she's doing\". She explained everything about both the bypass and the lap band without any papers, cards or anything. She didn't miss a beat. She was very thorough and answered any questions we had. She emphasized following the diet and walking after surgery to avoid blood clots. She has a great bedside manner, very friendly and she hugged me after the meeting. She also went over the risks of the procedure in detail and that kind of freaked me out. I am still worried about the surgery, but I feel a little more comfortable knowing she is my surgeon."
