I'm hanging right at 165-170# according to my scale. NOT happy with my weight loss progress. Feel like I should have lost more by now. I really need to exercise. That's WHY the scale hasn't budged!

So, it's been over a year since I had my surgery! I have lost 85-90lbs and am wearing a size 12-14 depending on the clothes. I can eat just about anything but in a LOT smaller amounts. SO glad I took the plunge!

Went to see Dr Ali for my 6 month post-op appt.  I weighed 186.5 lbs!  72.5 lbs gone forever!!  My diabetes is gone.  My fatty liver has disappeared.

60 pounds GONE FOREVER!  My weight today is 195 lbs.  Go to see the surgeon tomorrow!  I'll be curious to see what his scale weighs me as.  Last time, it was a BIG difference between his scale and my scale.  For my liking, I'm going by MY scale!  It has to be right!

I'm wearing XL scrubs now, where before I was in an XXXL top and a XXL bottom, I could probably get away with a large in scrub pants.  

I had to buy new underwear.  Went from a size 11 to a size 8(XL) in Hanes brand!!  So I AM losing..but the scale thing will bother me!

I'm down to 200lbs!  1 POUND AWAY FROM ONEDERLAND!!  I HAVEN'T WEIGHED LESS THAN 200LBS IN A LONG TIME!!  Lovin my RNY!

I'm down 52lbs according to my scale.Brother got married last weekend.  I looked great in my bridesmaid dress.  Everyone told me how good I looked.  It was awesome to hear those compliments!  I'm also down to a size 8 in underwear from a size 11!! 

I also did some quick measurements at work the other night!  FOUR INCHES GONE from my waist!  TWO inches gone from my chest, THREE inches gone from my thighs, 1/2 inch gone from my wrist!  I can't believe it!  I'M SHRINKING!!!  And it feels SO GOOD!!!

Since surgery, I've lost 40lbs!  215!!! I haven't seen 215 in YEARS!!  I've noticed that my 2x tops now fit!!  I can still wear my size 22 jeans although they are a bit more baggy.  I still can't believe it!

Since surgery, I can't eat eggs.  I've tried twice now.  Each time, I end up throwing up.  Same with baked fish.  Was at lunch. Ordered steamed scrod.  Had 5 bites.  Got the spitty-ups in the restaurant and I also threw up on the ride home. Yet, I handle tuna fish JUST FINE!

So, I went for my 3 wk post-op check up yesterday.  According to their scale, I'm down 18lbs since April 7th when I went in to sign consents.  According to MY scale, I weighed 222lbs yesterday, giving me a total weight loss of 33 lbs!!!  Of course, I weigh myself naked, after I've emptied my bladder.  And at the Dr's office, I'm fully dressed and I had my abd binder on as well.

Anyway, the appt went well.  He was very pleased with my progress thus far. My labs were great, except the Physician Assistant pointed out that my glucose was 106 and they want it under 99...um ok..106 is a perfectly NORMAL blood sugar!!! Plus I wasn't fasting!  I'm sure my family Dr would be pleased with 106!!  Dr Ali said that my pain on the right side is from the surgery, probably a muscle strain and is nothing to worry about.  He felt my stomach and didn't feel anything that he was concerned about.  I go back to see him on July 17th!

So, I'm down 32 lbs!  YAY!  STILL have that pain on my right side.....it's gotta be muscular.  Will definitely ask Dr Ali on Wednesday!
