Hi Everyone!Things are going well. I'm a little loopie from the pain meds but hey! It is worth it. Thank you to everyone on this site that has posted to my page! It has helped me so much! I know without my friends and without this site I never would have never been able to make this decision with such confidence and gotten through it so well! Thanks a million! I especially want to thank my WONDERFUL husband!!! He has just been a God send. I didn't know someone could love me so much! He sure kept the nurses on their toes, which wasn't easy. I'm feeling a little light headed and probably need to rest. I will update my site with all the details. Love to all!!! Oh PS He is thinking of taking up a part time job... Post Op Sweetie for Hire! Let us know if you are interested! LOL

Hi. I just spoke to Kim and she was feeling fine. She said Dr. Waits visited her and "he is just the sweetest man." She said they plan to take the epidural out tomorrow and she may get to go home then. I'm so happy for Kim .. she's done well. That's the latest news. Will let you know more if I hear.

I went for a short visit with Kim in the hospital last night. Kim was vibrant and talkative and didn't have much to complain about at the time. She must have just taken a dose of pain medication. (haha) She was just about to watch "Friends" when we came in. The nutritionist, Wendy, came in just as we were leaving, so I'm sure she cut into the "Friends" time. Anyway, I am happy to resport that Kim seemed fine .. and excited about her new journey.

I hate to hear Kim was in a lot of pain tonight. I saw her this morning and she looked great and felt pretty good considering she did have a fever or 101 and had a bad night - IV came out and her hand swole up :-( and the nurses at night did not take very good care of her. But her sweet man was taking very good care of her. He stayed with her all night. And I got to meet her Mother. What a sweet lady. She was headed out the door for a walk when I left. I hope she feels better in the morning.

2nd Post-op day: I spoke to Kim tonight, she said that she is in alot of pain. She is very tired. She has been up walking and taking ice chips. She sounds good, but wanted to cut it short as she didn't feel the best.(understandable)
