Wow, it seems like days go by fast when you have to do something you dont want to do! My revision/hernia repair is tomorrow. Im a little nervous but I know my God lives and He will bring me thru this surgery victorious. Yesterday, I had to do my bloodwork and a EKG.  It was kinda interesting because I am a current phlebotomy student and I was watching the laboratory staff like a hawk!...lol.... I told the phlebotomy technician what to do......lol....(like she was not already competent)....Since I am a germ fanatic I saw a lot of uncleanliness....no changing of the gloves....so I was prepared to put homegirl on point if she would have tried that with me! But I hope I will be able to come home on friday without any compliations and ready to finish losing the weight I never loss....

 Well, I I had a feeling that I was losing some inches since my doc insisted on me going back on the dreaded liquid preop diet. This was to restart weightloss or to reboot my pouch!(Even though Im six years out!) I have loss a total of 11 pounds since last week and am soooooooooooooooooOoooooo thankful! I never was able to complete my weightloss because my PCP started me on cortisteroid injections for a back injury! I got these injections for 2 and a half years. This how long I have been in a plateau! But I am on track again and I pray the I complete the weightloss goal!

I saw my WLS today to see if I could get a possible revision. Well, he said that insurance companies are not paying for lapband after a Roux-en-Y now.....So.....I have to have a laparoscopy and see if I have an internal hernia on October 18th.....Then he puts me back on the preop protein and liquid diet until further notice.....I feel that my surgeon is trying to reset my pouch to shrink! This will cause me to start losing dramatic weight again...so I pray I dont fail at this!!!!!
