Aloha, My name is Peri and I'm 34yrs old from Big island,HI. I'm a very proud mother of one Daughter . Shanice who is YOUNG WOMEN who is 16 yrs old . I'm been happily divorced for 3 yrs now, I own two business which keeps me busy,Thanks to my family who helps me . I have been learning about bariatric surgery for the past 6 yrs and I have finally decided I'm ready to embark on this new journey. I had a rude wake up call this year when my Little nephew has cancer he's only 3 yrs old. how did he get this illness is unknown . My nephew is battling this illness for a heathier life and getting better everyday thank the lord, his A little strong man and i thank my sister in law that she's a damn strong women . This is when I decided that it was time to stop playing games with these fluke diets and do something serious for my health. I currently have no illnesses but I surely don't want to reduce any risks. nor i don't want my own child to go theu what i have been thru mmy whole life battling a weight problem. I have completed the entire check list of things needed to be completed per my insurance carrier for the RNY bypass surgery. Now I'm just waiting for the approval letter from the health insurance so that I may schedule a date for surgery.
