Hiked up to the old Tea House on the Great Head Rock above Sand Beach in Acadia yesterday. It was much more fun than the treadmill.
Last Week we hiked the trail from Sand Beach to Otter Cliffs. That was many miles.  Very challenging. Have to keep moving so the old bones don't freeze up,.

I had 5 incisions with the laproscopic banding. The biggest one is still scabby on one end. It has been over 3 weeks. This other scars are barely visable. My D.O. doctor told me to put some wheat germ oil out of the capsule on my scar tissue each day. I am not putting it on the part that is still scabby, waiting for it to heal together first. A nurse at work told me about a formula at the health food store that helped her sister's scar on her legs and belly after an accident. I do know to wait until the wound is completely healed before putting anything on it. Any good products to lessen scar tissure that you know of? The oil did take the Puckered up ridge away on the ones I put it on. The big scar is still uncomfortable and I cannot lay on that side when sleeping very easily.

The prune juice , Milk of Magnesia, and apple sauce finally helped , along the Simethicone for Gas. I did not need to sit in a chair with a heating pad and take a pain tablet last night.  It is getting better.

I am now eating 1/2 of servings soft protein. (2 oz)
I drank some cold liquid and am feeling pressure under my breasts. Does that sound normal. I have been active. Surgery was Wednesday.

Still can't advance my diet. Eating 1/2 of servings of homemade custard, yogurt. Having trouble with burping, nausea, a few hiccups. Acid burn.  Trying 1/2 of Pepcid tablet for past 2 days. Will go to support group today with my husband. Maybe I will learn what is the best plan to be able to eat again. I have lost around 30 pounds since I started the process in June. Crystal lights popsicle seems to stay down pretty good. Any suggestions?
