So I am almost 4 months post op and feeling great! I' m amazed at how much better I feel and I looooooove getting new clothes! Goodwill is my new favorite place. I am so thankful!!

so, i havent posted in forever. had surgery 4/28/11, am so very grateful that it went so well and i am healing up swimmingly.i feel so very lucky and thank god everyday for this second chance. i'm working hard at trying to get 65 grams of protien and 64 oz of fluid everyday, most days get pretty close. gotta get more consistent with exercise...feeling great though! i have a lot more energy  already, and am sleeping better. life is good!

 next step: sit down with husband and discuss how we can pull this off financially ( deductable, program fee, optifast for a month, lost pay if i have to be off more than the pto that  i have left for this year)

then: appt. at the bariatric center to pay the rest of the program fee,and set a date!

then: explain all this to my dad. kinda worried about that!

then: tell my sibs

then: do all the rest of the stuff

then: have surgery

hello unknown persons, i am currently awaiting insurance approval for rny surgery... kinda excited, kinda scared. not sure if this is what i really want to do, but really sick of being super overweight.hoping to get some insight from others who have been through this.
