My story is like everyone else's I tired so many things only to fall back to where I was. I am from a family of Large women and while I loved these women I have seen them suffer through so much heart issues diabetes and so much more. I had chest pains a few months ago and the nurse said well at your weight a heart attack can happen. I am 27 no it cannot but alas it can mine was just a scare but it was just what I needed to make the choice to save my life. I am 5 foot 1 which means even 30 lbs over makes a huge difference but being over 120 pounds over weight was just too much. So I asked my doctor to sign me up for the next round at the center and see where I got from there. My center was super nice they walked me through everything my insurance would need. My doctor was super supportive of my choice. She helped me do my 6 month pre req needed. I met with Dr. Brient and he was a doll. I am now 1 month out and it is honestly the best choice I have ever made.
My surgery date was 5/28/2014 this is my reset to life.
