I did do some research on the Optifast 900, and what is in it, here is what I found.Calories: 200 Fiber: 0g
Protein: 26g Vitamins & Minerals: 35% of RDI*
Carbs: 10g Lactose: < 1g
Sodium: 480mg
Potassium: 800mg
Ingredients (Vanilla): Whey Protein Concentrate, Milk Protein Isolate, Maltodextrin, Canola Oil (BHA/BHT to Maintain Freshness), Fructose, Dextrose, High Oleic Sunflower Oil, and less than 2% of Potassium Citrate, Salt, Dipotassium Phosphate, Calcium Phosphate, Cellulose Gum, Magnesium Oxide, Potassium Chloride, Natural and Arifical Flavour, Choline Bitartrate, Mono- and Diglycerides, Acesulfame Potassium, Ascorbic Acid, Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate, Aspartame*, Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc sulfate, Vitamin A Palmitate, Niacinamide, Copper Gluconate, Calcium Pantothernate, Vitamin K1, Manganese Sulfate, Vitamin D3, Thiamine Hydrochloride, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin, Chromium Chloride, Folic Acid, Biotin, Potassium Iodide, Sodium Molybdate, Sodium Selenite, Vitamin B12.
The reason I did this; is because my family doctor wanted to know what was in it, and the packages or box have NO information or ingredients or nutritional values.
