Hi Lori! My name is Bonnie McLauchlin and I just wanted you to know that I will be praying for you and wishing you well on your upcoming surgery. I will be going for my first consult soon so I am a little envious of you just now! Don't know much about all this stuff yet, but I do know that I care about the people here. Lori, congratulations on your upcoming surgery date, I will be thinking of you and your family. It is an amazing journey you are about to embark on, and no matter how prepared I thought I was there is nothing that can really prepare you for the changes that will be taking place in your body, your life, and your mind. Please know we are here for you when ever you might need us, be safe and do everything the Dr. tells you, walk walk walk, and cough (much harder than you would like!) We're pulling for you girl, and be assured you are doing the very best thing you could for your children, I also have three children and was told I should wait until they were of the age of majority before having surgery, balderdash by then I may have done irreparable harm to myself and lived less than I hope I will now. Be strong and take help when you need it....All my best......Carol

Lori - I feel very privaleged to be your WLS angel. This is an incredible journey you're undertaking and I'm looking forward to supporting you along the way when you need it. There will be ups and downs along the way, but the rewards are so wonderful. I know you will be a huge success and reach your goals becuase you're determined and motivated and have much love and support around you, plus the extra support of your sister cheering you on from the other side. Soon you will be lighter and feel lighter as the pounds melt away. But what also melts away is so many on the hurts and pain that has been part of your life becuase of your battle with weight.
