Hi All! Kathy's husband Chris here to let you all know that Kathy's surgery was a completely smooth success. No complications and she is glad that the scary part, the surgery itself, is over. Now comes the hard part, but she is eager to start. Her spirits are high and she is up and walking around on a constant basis since about 12 hours after surgery. She amazes me every day with her strength and conviction. Be aware that she thanks God for all of you and your constant loving support. We are blessed to have so many people who we have never met (and may never meet) praying for her speedy recovery and upcoming journey. Thank you. Kathy sends her love to you all.

Kathy, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. Well, tomorrow is my day. To say that I'm nervous would be the understatment of the world. I haven't slept well in over a week and I'm running out of reserve bravery ! The constant support from the members on this site as well as the generosity of spirit that I feel from you all has made beginning this journey so much easier. I want to express to you all my sincerest gratitude. This site has been a blessing to me. Thank you all...see you on the " other side" :) Kathy

Kathy~Today is my five month anniversary and I am down 73 pounds and 6 sizes- I wish you all the success and health that this surgery can provide- I will keep you in my thoughts this day and pray that God keeps you in his protection…Congratulations!!
