Ready Set Go!!!!

Well I went September 1st for my first month weight management appointment.  Everything went well.  My PCP spoke to me how important it was to learn how to diet and watch calorie intake.  I must say I learned alot in such a limited time.  I'm so happy that my doctor counted this visit as my first month of weight mgmnt.  Two more months to go. I was told to keep a food journal so I will be starting that on Monday.  We'll see how this goes.  We renew our insurance in November and I'm hoping nothing changes for bariatric approval.  

On another note my mom received a phone call from the insurance coordinator stating she was approved.  She now has to set an appointment with the nurse for the surgeon consultation.  I will keep you posted on her process and progress.
