first fill today

Well, it was not near as bad as I expected! I did need to fast today and didn't get my fill until noon which was the worst part! I'm on a liquid diet now for the next 24 to 48 hours. I had 3 cc's in the band and he added 1 more to give me a total of 4 cc. I hope I get more restriction as my weight loss slowed way down. I am able to work out now so I'm hoping that makes a huge difference!I normally do water aerobics but the pool is closed until 1/15 which I'm bummed about. It was a nice distraction from sweating inside! I also took over my son's Wii and bought a Wii Fit today! Watch out - I'm joining the video game revolution!
I almost feel silly now that I was nervous about getting my fill. The insertion of the IV at surgery was worse! I am also a little squeamish and unfortunately I saw that long needle when he pulled it out. Yikes!!! Thank goodness he was done! Also - I did not need to drink any barium. He just had me take a few sips of water after to make sure I could swallow okay.
