Hi Lilladiebugg and Congrats on taking the steps toward better health and new life! I wish you the best experience with Dr. Stelmack and the Barix team. I also want to invite you to join an email support group just for Barix (formerly known as Bariatric Treatment Centers) patients. It's a wonderful group--full of fun, friendship and support. Best of all, we all follow the BTC/Barix program. No mixed info & lots of weight-loss along the way. If you're interested just reply to this message! Hugs, Blessings and lots of MELTING vibes coming your way. God Bless~

WOW - it's amazing, when we first started yappin' with each other, you were in the 'hurry up and wait' stages of your journey. It seemed like time wasn't even in neutral but more like reverse, it was going so slow. Now fast forward to today and your special day is here and it seems like time finally flew, granted it didn't speed up until after the approval stage. How excited you must be???? I still remember my "day" before surgery and the emotions were nothing short of euphoric. If I'd won the lottery I couldn't have been any happier (richer, yes, happier, nah). I was being given a 2nd chance at life and that in itself was a miracle. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers for an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery, my friend! The first few days (okay, the first 10) are challenging, but it only get's better from there on out, I promise! Think positive, drink lots of water, get your silly tired butt outta bed and WALK WALK WALK, and don't forget the vitamins, even if it means pulverizing them to dust to get 'em in! Big hugs, warm thoughts and prayers coming your way! Lei
