WOW - it's amazing, when we first started yappin' with each other, you were in the 'hurry up and wait' stages of your journey. It seemed like time wasn't even in neutral but more like reverse, it was going so slow. Now fast forward to today and your special day is here and it seems like time finally flew, granted it didn't speed up until after the approval stage.
How excited you must be???? I still remember my "day" before surgery and the emotions were nothing short of euphoric. If I'd won the lottery I couldn't have been any happier (richer, yes, happier, nah). I was being given a 2nd chance at life and that in itself was a miracle.
You'll be in my thoughts and prayers for an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery, my friend! The first few days (okay, the first 10) are challenging, but it only get's better from there on out, I promise!
Think positive, drink lots of water, get your silly tired butt outta bed and WALK WALK WALK, and don't forget the vitamins, even if it means pulverizing them to dust to get 'em in!
Big hugs, warm thoughts and prayers coming your way!
