"Dr. Vithiananthan is a fantastic surgeon. I would say that he is the best. I originally went to his info meeting because he was so highly recommended by another surgeon and dietician that i spoke to. He really knows what he is doing and will take as much time as you need to explain things to you. He is kind and has a great bedside manner. Dr. V is very honest and there are no surprises before, during or after surgery. What also makes Dr. V's practice so awesome is his fabulous staff. The nurse practitioners, patient coordinators, group leaders, office staff, dietician, covering surgeons and even his other patients make this process easier. All of my appointments are made for me- unbelievable! They all remember me. I am not just another patient-awesome! I never feel embarrassed to call and ask questions- invaluable. They always fit me in for an appointment, without questions. Dr. V has given me this wonderful opportunity/tool to take control of my life and start living. I am still new to this WLS life- but I am now in control and living without regrets. "
