I had RNY done in Feb 2000. At the time of surgery I was 235 pounds with an expected goal weight of 125 ponds. I am 5'2" tall. After surgery I lost 55 pounds, and have since gained 30 of that back, needless to say, I felt like such a failure.
I searched so many websites and it seemed that everyone had a glowing report after RNY that I must have done something wrong. I am so glad to find this website, at least I know in some cases I am not by myself. It is wonderful to see so many success and to know that even if mine wasn't a success there is hope.
I am schedule to attend for a visit to Suburban Surgical Care Specialist on the 11th so any informtion or guidance would be greatly appreciated. The doctors on staff there are James M. Kane, Jr; Peter C. Rantis Jr.; Paul J. Guske and Jonathan W. Wallace. Since it is a seminar, I am not sure which doctor I will actually speak with.
