Weight Loss Revision
Aug 04, 2007
I am trying to find out about WLS Revisions! I had a RNY done in 2000 and at the time of my surgery I was 232 lbs. After surgery I lost a wonderful 55 pounds! man was I excited, I finally realized that I had a neck! but unfortunately my excitement was short lived. I reached the 169 lb marker and started gaining again. When I talked to my dr he said I was not watching what I ate and that if I gained it back it would be my own fault! Then they stopped even taking my calls. You know the "He's with a patient right now and will have to call you back".
I felt like a complete failure and wondered why I even had the surgery. I started checking the websites to see if anyone else was having a problem with weight gain after the RNY and it seemed I was the only person in the world who this happend to, so needles to say, I was amazed to find this website where people talk openly and honestly about both weight gain and weight loss, and the before & after pics are awesome.
I have scheduled an appoint with Suburban Surgical Care Specialist for 8/11/07 to discuss Revision Surgery (never knew there was such a thing) so any information that can be given to me about this surgery and this location would be great!
