I am a 46 yo divorced father of a teenager {thankfully not obese}. Although there are pics of me as a youngster not heavy, I cannot remember a time when I wasn't heavy. Over the years I have had limited success with different weight loss programs, but as with others the weight always seems to find me and it brings its friends. Recently, the cold breath of co-morbidities have been blowing on the back of my neck. I read all I can on WLS and even have a post op friend who has been a guide. Its time to take the plunge.
