I wish all of the Oh Group a very happy and Merry Christmas.

Now that were on the heels of the food eating season I hope we are all doing well ! And for me every day is open season for eating dam  "lol"  Well I wish everyone a healthy and joyous holiday season !!!!

The Journey has been good to me so far I am down 120 lbs from the day of surgery and down a total of 159 lbs from February !! Lab work looks good it showed my protein was a little low and vitamin A was low but all in all a great journey so far !! when I started the weight loss program my waist was 64 and a 4X shirt to day my waist is 44 and shirt size is a large, well that's my story and i am sticking to it.

I had to take three pair of pants back to the men's warehouse for alterations I bought them in November, The waist was a size 46 and had to be taken in two inch's. In February of this year I was a size 64 waist, I was wearing a 4x shirt and today I bought two new shirts and they are a size large. I cant remember the last time I was that size. Thank God for my RNY !!

I hope everyone enjoys the the Thanksgiving Day! We have so much to be thankful for !! To our Military for giving so much and there family's for sharing there loved ones for our peace and security . Thank You

Well Yesterday was my official six months from the day of surgery. I am down 106 lbs and down 147 lbs from the start of the weight loss program at Wm Beaumont Hospital in February of this year ! Today was the official weigh in at the doctors office and I was glad his scale and the one I have at home were on the same page "lol" My starting weight in February was 373 lbs and what a difference in the way I feel and my activity level. I have to thank all of the great people on this web site for the encouragement and knowledge to help me attain this weight loss !!!!!!!!!!! Thank you one and all.

Today its five months and Iam down 98 lbs and off all but one Medication !! I was on six before the weight loss and it is a good feeling reducing the meds. The one that i am taking is for blood pressure and it was reduced from 100mg to 25mg all in all very happy. Thank You one and all !! A long way to go but much closer to my goal. The battle continues "lol"

Well I got on the scale this morning and 242 was the number of the day "lol" I also received a letter from the doctor office at the weight loss center with lab results. the two things that the numbers were low Iron and protein !! I am taking Iron supplements and increasing my protein in take.  When I started the weight loss program in February of this year I was 373 lbs at the time of surgery May 12th I was 334 lbs so I am a happy camper right now. I cant tell you how much the OH web site and most of all the people and there Journeys that have encouraged me to achieve and continue on !! Thank you one and all.
