Down 5 more pounds now lost 55. On my way as long as I loose 5 lbs a week I guess that is great. 11 weeks out down to 225 from 280. yippee!!!!

10 weeks out and I have lost 50 pounds. I am so happy. I have went from a size 26 pants to a size 20 pants. Its still too early to go buy clothes. I can't wait till I've lost about 100 pounds then I might buy some it all depends on how fast that happens. I pray every night that the pounds keep coming off. I still only eat about 3 ounces a day and can not tolerate certain foods like beef. I know I am still early on this losing thing so hopefully later I will be able to eat more often. My doctor wants me to eat a cup a day. But when I do eat I make sure it is very protein enriched I try to double or triple the protein ingredients.

2 Months post op and I have lost 44 lbs. yippie!!!! I wish it was dropping off faster but I'm happy so far. I am exercising and eating better than I was.

well yesterday was 7 weeks and i finally got past 38 lbs I have now lost 40. I guess that is good I just expect things to happen overnight. I am feeling better and am exercising again. I fit into a pair of jeans comfortably that Have been too little for over a year probally two. I went to a FC Dallas game Sunday and sit in the seat comfortably and didn't feel squeezed in. Those are some great accomplishments. 

Well alot has been going on since I last posted. I got very sick and had my gallbladder removed on 2/13/07. I spent more time in the ER that week than at home. Having 2 surgeries 3 weeks apart sucks. I was miserable, I didn't get out of bed for a week. This one was so hard on me. I am glad it is all over.I now weigh 143, I have lost 37 pounds yeah. I am not eating very much but I am trying to get back on track. We have a support group mtg monday.

Well I am down to 260 pounds in 2 weeks. I left the hospital weighing 287 so all is good. I went to my support group last night it was great seeing everyone and getting to talk to those with more experience than me. I think this is the best time of my life except having my kids. I am so happy about everything. My mom leaves thursday it sure has been great having her here with me through this. But it will be back to me and the kids which is what I am used to. Write more later.

Well It has been a while since I posted. I go to my 2 week post op 2/6/07. I have been feeling really good. When they weighed me at the hospital my weight went up about 10 pounds I about died they said not to worry it was all the fluids. They were really pumping the fluids to me fast. I went in on Tuesday 1/23/07 and got out on friday. I walked alot around the floor, I was up to 6 laps around the floor when I left. The only thing that bothered me was they kept asking if I was using my Morphine pump I only used less than half the bag by the day I left. They said most people have used it all by day 2 and get there IV taken out. I handle surgery well and have a high pain tolerance. I got my IV taken out right before I left. My gallbladder wasn't removed like I was hoping to have done since I have gallstones, I think the reason was my surgery was postponed for over an hour because they could not get an IV started finally they put in a central line, that was the most painful thing during my surgery and post surgey experience. It still hurts. So my bad veins through off all the rest of the surgeries because I was scheduled 1st. By my scales I have lost 20 pounds in less than 2 weeks pre surgery weight not fluid weight. Tomorrow I am going to the North Tx Support group mtg and Tues to my Dr. I will post with my weight loss Tuesday. Thank You Rachel and Stephanie for the great support and friendship. Michelle

Well 1 day left till my surgery. I can't believe how fast this has all come about. Two months from first consult to surgery. Well this weekend I was preparing. Getting the house clean, laundry caught up, instructing kids to behave while their grandmother is here. I also went out and got all the thinks I needed after surgery and for surgery like the wooden spoon. I pick my mom up at the airport today and she's gonna stay until 2/8/07. I know she will be a big help and alot of motivation for me. She is also obese but she has been excercising every day since the new year so I will have someone to walk with everyday at the beginning that should get me in a good habit. Everyone move over I'm joining you on the losers bench. I would like to thank everyone on OH that has answered my questions and helped me through this I have made 2 great friends from here Stephy and Rachel. I am so thankful that we were brought together. My family keeps asking if I am nervous and I keep telling them no tomorrow I might get nervous. But so far I am just happy and excited for this to all be happening to me. My daughter is going to update the board on how I am doing. This will be my last post untill after my surgery. I have to get up at 4 A.M. tomorrow to shower and get to the hospital by 5:30. My surgery is scheduled for 7:15. It will be his first surgery of the day. I like being 1st. lol. Well I'll catch u all on the losing side. Michelle
