Ok, I'm soooo happy right now. On my doctor's appointment on Jan 12, I got yet another fill. I was at 4.5cc's in my 10cc band. So my doctor gave me 1.0cc and have me try to drink some water in the waiting room. If I could get the water down, then I could leave. Needless to say, the water just sat in my chest and was very uncomfortable. He took out 0.5cc and I was fine. This leaves me currently at 5.0cc in my band.Since my fill, I've had wonderful restriction. I've had to go back to basics with the way I'm supposed to eat. I can't gulp my liquids down anymore, I find it easier sipping through a straw to slow me down. I have to make sure that I take small bites and chew really well or I'll get stuck. But, I've been dropping weight continuously and I'm so happy about that. As of today, I weigh 245.4 pounds. If I lose 5.4 more pounds, I'll be a total of 100 pounds from my highest weight (I weighed 340 when I first started my process to have wls). My lowest weight that I can remember was at 239, and I'm right around from that
On another note...I started my class this month, and it's a killer. The class isn't over until March 2010, and I can't wait. All of my free time has been focused on doing homework, so I have really no free weekends unil then
But I have faith that I'll make it.Until next time.......
