I would like to first say CONGRATS to those who has been successful in their WLS goals
. I have been heavy all my entire adult life. Since high school, I didn't consider myself overweight, but to everyone else I was, so I was feeling insecure wearing a size 12/14
. It didn't bother me as much, until my early adult years, I use to be soo madd when I would go shopping with the girls, and everyone was at least 3 sizes smaller than me, and I had a grumpy attitude when their item was soo prettier than mines. Nevertheless, I focused more on shoe shopping then clothes to over accomodate for my "not so pefect attire". The anger came more when my bff 's would start their family and still was able to look good in their clothes and tight jeans. Now I had two marks against me, and my hubby loved one the most my big "breasts"
. I was in love with them too, but after having my daughter in 04' I was toting around too much weight and tatas. I would try all the diets known to man, but to no avail..I would at least lose 5-10lbs, but that was it. My heaviest weight was 278, and that was 2 years ago. I started having back pain and shoulder pain, and my pcp discuss with me about having a breast reduction. I talked it out with hubby, and of course he ruled it out, but i'm like "Hey dude this is my health we are talking about,not some teaser appetizer!!lol...I had my surgery on Oct 13, 2010, and those 46DD appetizers is now a fruit bowl 38C..

. So after my surgery my weight went down 38lbs,leaving me now at 240lbs. And now that leaves me to concentrate on my weight and get rid of these HBPmeds, I have been back on low carb diets since then,and everyday I am striving to lose more weight. Yes......I still love shoes, and hopefully after my surgery I can not only impress others by fitting into stylish attire, but also most importantly MYSELF & Kids, saying mommie is going to be around alot more longer & be more healthier and become that person who never gave up trying ,but succeeded to accomplish what I couldn't do!
