...I am almost to my goal weight!..well not quite yet, but i'm getting there. I will be 6 months post-op  in June. I have lost a total of 67 lbs, and went from a 18 to a 10. I haven't heard from many, but kno everyone has been overwhelm with their success!. I am wishing you much more success,and can't wait to see my size 6 

I FEEL GOOD!....i have had a little set back recently with my new pouch. I had a staple protrude, which was removed, and I have an ulcer. I am on prescription med Prevacid 30mg 2xaday.  I work out 2-3x a week at my local Y,yesterday was my first day on the treadmill, I did a mile. I am sure I will be progressing soon to alittle more. Hope everyone is doing Great!!! I am looking forward to my 6 months already....trying to each size 6-8, currently size 12. God bless

Yes!, I made thru a week , but I still feel bad. I stop my pain med on yesterday, taste so awful! the pain I am having is minimum,but it's so uncomfortable, which makes me feel awful. I am so looking forward to better days. I seem to can't drink all o my protein drinks, I think I am going to have to choose powder. I can't stand the taste of eggs now,which sucks. everything else,like chic,turkey,salmon I can eat, but haven't had the desire to eat anything for the last day. I did eat a saltine seasalt cracker 2, whicj I should've stuck to 1, I feel so full.bloated today,just took my multivit,and sooooooohate, i mean hate to give myself this d##m shot in my lovehandle or my gallbladder, 2 more days I have left ,2 more days Lord, this is so killing me right now!...Hope everyone is doing fine, I have lost 20lbs so far excited, but I would rather feel more better than I do.  Dec 7, 2011 is my date!....So I am getting prepare with all my vitamins and protein shakes, I am only buying 2 different kinds for now. I have tasted one can protein drink, its ok. I have saved up coupons so i will be saving a few dollars. Today has been rough I am experiencing the "H" word m,yea hemorrhoids, they r truly a pain and nuisance...I AM SOOO READY. I recently renewed my salvation with God,and was Baptism this past Sunday,I feel absolutley Wonderful, and looking forward to a New Healthly Body and off these meds.. To those with an upcoming surgery date, God bless & Fast Recovery! 

, Yes I  was informed of alot of info today, but I will not be discussing it any further, just that "OH", was not one of those"sites" with negative feedback in every corner,So my question is, Don't every Doctor agree to disagree on the right weightloss surgery technique?

...Had my appt with my surgeon today, nice man. . . .,insurance don't require no supervise diets, even though I have lost some pounds since June. Labs, EKG, and Nutrition on Thursday. Surgery scheduler informed me that she will call on the 6th of Oct for my surgery date, which she said will be before Dec! Wow!!!.. I am excited and nervous all in one. So soon. I will need aalot of support, they also provided, those that chose to be mentors and help with any questions as your own personal buddy(How nice).

..So yesterday was my WLS workup, to have my pap done. Now me personally, chose to have a man gyn...WHY??, I have found that being a woman myself, and having one as my gyn, is a nono for me. They are insensitive to some subjects and to me show no empathy toward whatever your visit was for. I'm new to the area so, I didn't kno I was getting a woman, my appt was for a man dr. On top of that I was fully undress and waited for an hour..really 1 hour??, she came in apologize as they usual do, and she was pregnant..OH MY..really, nothings wrong with that, but Really!!!. Overall she was really sweet,but I am now finding a new gyn, so more research for me, it was such a nice atmosphere to and  not far..GEESH

...Yesterday was my first mammogram, and boy did it hurt!...It wasn't that bad but a little...It hasn't been a year since my breast reduction last oct, so I was kinda nervous as to what to expect before hand and after, But I am fine and just wanting for the results. Soo how was is your day?

 Hello to everyone. I am joi, and new to the site. I have never even heard of any kind of weight loss surgery until last year(yea, where have I been?) I am so overwelm, that this is even possibe!!!. I seen an advertisement on another site, and  done research and was like wow!..I need this. I spoke with my Dr. about it, since I have been on every kind of blood pressure medicine known to man. I am 42, weigh 248 back in july and now 236, I've been doing alot of walking(my car being out of comission can contribute to that). My BMI is 40.6. I have not been diagnose with arthiritis, but mu knee gets stiff when I bend it. I was recommend for a sleep study from my Dr., but my insurance wouldn't pay go figure. I was recently put on omerapozaole for reflux. Don't want to bore you, I'm just looking for support, because I have no friends who kno nothing about this or family. So Please help!! what would be my next step.......
