Well i guess ill start my story i was never really overweight before until around the age of 21
I'm almost 29 now but anyways i started eating a lot and then i became pregnant with first child less than 3 months later i was preg again with twins and as the years went on so did the weight my highest was 290. One day last July for my anniversary
we went to cedar point long story short i could not fit on the ride and it broke my heart. so i came home and made an appointment with my PCP she was very nice and agreed to give me recommendation for surgery. i wwaited a while to actually call to start the process and then when i did i had lost some weight they told me my BMI might not be high enough but i could still join and wait to find out so i did and along the way i lost around 50 lbs in about 5 months but at the end i injured my knee which where causing me pain throughout the entire 6 months any ways i could not go to the gym at all i had to wear a knee brace honestly i still don't know exactly what the problem is she said it patella femoral syndrome (runners knee) and i was running a lot it was so disappointing not being able to work out and i started gaining weight again its sad cause i really thought i wouldn't need the surgery i could do it my self but this is what always happens i can lose it but i always gain it back plus more lots more each year so I've been really stressed waiting to see if i was approved or not but eventually they called me back meanwhile i don't get service at work so i didn't know for 2 days till i took my battery out that i was approved then i had to wait to get scheduled this is the craziest longest wait in the world so here i am scheduled for May13,2010. I'm really not nervous yet but i know i will be. I just pray everything goes well and i have no complications after wards and i lose a lot of weight and look good!! i have 3 kids a husband and a full time job so i need to be healthy so i think that's about it o and my mother is overweight and needs to have surgery but shes scared and my sisters could probably be approved also so ill be the first to go.
