Marlene~Go girl!! - 98 is FANTASTIC!!! I am 5'2" too. How much did you need to lose when you started? (if you don't mind me asking) I started with a low BMI but lots of co-morbs. and family history of co-morbs. Totally I needed to lose like 85 lbs. I'l like to lose 90 or so. I can't wait to say I've lost 90 lbs. YOU GO GIRL!!! Keep up the good work and keep the rest of the "family" posted. Have a great day!!

Marlene, Have you thought about seeing a chiropractor for your headaches? I get raging headaches when my neck or shoulders or back is out of alignment. Since your surgery and weigh loss, your body has been realigned. Just a thought. Good luck to you..

Well hello everyone. Long time no post. I do read everyday though. Congrats to all of you having surgery this week. And to everyone else still trying or waiting for surgery or having problems, my best wishes go out to you. As for me, I'm doing pretty good. I went for a checkup last Friday and doc said everything was going good. According to his scale I lost 36 pounds. (10 weeks post op this week.)Well, today I got on the scale and FINALLY 40 pounds gone for good. I was a little disappointed at first, but then I thought, when would I ever lose this much weight in 2 months? And I know it's not coming back. I've been exercising and feeling pretty good. To everyone who think you're not losing fast enough......any loss is a good loss. I'm finally realizing that. As they say..... we didn't put the weight on overnight. It will take a while, but it will be worth it in the end. Anyway, I hope you all have a great day and week. Take care all.
