Tina, I am so sorry this happened to you. I know how you feel. My surgery was cancelled at the very last minute too, by the anaesthesiologist due to a problem with one of my medications. I was devastated. My surgery is now scheduled for next Thursday and I am getting very excited about it. This grief over your disappointment will pass and you will feel better once you get a new date. Good luck. I will keep you in my prayers.

HI EVERYONE OUT THERE IT'S ME I HAVE HAD THE WORST 48 HOURS OF MY LIFE TO DATE. I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL ALL SET TO HAVE SURGERY ONLY TO FIND OUT I WAS RUNNING A LOW GRADE FEVER AND HAD A UTI SO DR.SCHAUER SAID IT WOULD BE IN MY BEST INTEREST SO RE-SCHEDULE. I WAS SOOO UPSET ALL I DID LAST NIGHT WAS CRY I HAD SPENT 2 DAYS ON LIQUID DIES AND BOWEL PREP AND MENTALY PREPARING MYSELF I GOT ALL THE WAY TO PRE-OP HAD THE IV AND EVERYTHING AND BOOM! I KNOW IT IS FOR THE BEST AND HE SAID AS SOON AS IT IS CLEARED UP HE WILL SQUEEZE ME INTO THE SCHEDULE. I WILL UPDATE WHEN I HAVE A NEW DATE !!!!THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO SENT WELL WISHES!

This has been a LONG journey for us! I hope to see you at Shadyside Hospital on Wednesday. Next year at this time, you and I can go clothes shopping on Walnut in Shadyside!!!! You will do fine, prayers and smiles to you!!

Congratulations I dont know about you but I am just so excited. This is all I have on my mind. You will be in my prayers. what time is your surgery and how long does it last. My isnt lap so It is scheduled to start at 10:30 and last about 3 or 4 hours.
