"My first impression of Dr Rod was that he was a cutie,(which is of vital importance :) and well qualified as evidenced by reviews that preceded him here to Cincinnati from his prior practice in Texas. Tehn the hospital got the COE award, so that was comforting. rnHis office staff, Especially Ms Peggy the Insurance Coordinator, was exceptional and honest and open about the process and the progress of getting authorization. She allowed me to participate in the process and was sympathetic when I needed it. rnI trust the staff at Deaconess Weight Loss Clinic, and I really feel like they are interested in helping others to reach the same goals that many of them have achieved, for the most part. rnDr Rod emphasized that aftercare and compliance were very important to his treatment program and indicated that anything less than my full effort would not be acceptable or successful. I believe him! rnIt will remain to be seen how the surgery itself will go. "
