I had surgery on May 8th. I had to go to ER after my drain was pulled I was vomiting. I found out I had a kidney infection. I noticed my clothes were starting to get bigger. In July and I could not  wait to go home to LA and show all my friends and family. I did see my old flame who I mentioned in my earlier blog. I felt that since I lost the weight I could finally tell him Im sorry for all the wrong Ive done when I broke up with him 18 yrs ago. When I saw him so many feelings came over me. I was happy,nervous,excited among others. I felt so happy to finally be able to tell him for so many years how I felt. We plan on keeping in contact with each other, we exchanged cells and emails. I am now in September and Ive lost 81 pounds!! I  feel so much better and I have more energy to chase my 3 yr old around now. I still have to have knee surgery in November. Im starting to loose my hair, ugh!!! Im getting my hair cut short within the next week since it will be my 42nd birthday. Little things Ive noticed since Ive lost weight : my steering wheel isnt so close to my stomach anymore, getting out of bed isnt a task, Im begining to be able to cross my legs,I have collar bones!!

 I started my Zoloft last Thurs. They cant figure out why my white blood count is up. I looked online and it could be one of many things including: bacterial infections, inflammation,leukemia, trauma, or stress.  We shall see. I also went to a new doctor he's an orthopedic surgeon yesterday 3-1. I had a slip and fall back in Feb 06 so looks like Ill need Arthroscopic surgery to take a look and see about my  torn meniscus, as well as other repairs.This has been a thorn in my side for the longest time. The pain factor is off  the charts. Once I take care of one of my bariatric surgery then I can proceed with the next thing.

I got a call from my surgeon's office, they said I needed to retake my blood test again. I guess the white blood count was high. I went to my  psych evaluation today and he feels that I need to wait. That was tough to hear, but I understand why.  

Ah that wasnt so hard!! I had an EKG, blood test ,and my personal favorite trying to aim in a tiny cup to pee. Monday is the Psychological Evaluation, This will be a tough one for me. I took a drive today to see where it was, I just about flipped. Im having some slight issues  I have a thing about walking across the street with people watching me since Im so heavy, It drives me NUTS!!  (does anyone remember in jr high school or even high school and they saw a cute guy in the mall and felt  for some reason you couldnt walk? or your legs turned to jello or you had to think HOW you walked ok one foot in front of another) This is that feeling!

WOW there was alot to take in !!!  There were about 20 people there, some with their support person and some without. I have a pre-op checklist that says what needs to be taken care of and what has been done, which will help a great deal.
