I'm 60 years old, with a BMI of 50. In 2004 I had the LapBand, but due to an infection had it removed in 2010. Since the removal I have gained over 100 pounds. Due to my many health issues I hope to have the RNY in August. This is my last hope at regaining my health. I was very successful with the LapBand. I know the RNY will be a challenge, but living the way I do now is a living nightmare.
