"I met Dr. Maffucci first at a seminar. He seemed like a very soft-spoken, calm and gentle guy with subtle sense of humor. I asked several questions and felt some kind of connection.
But I wasn't convinced and kept looking. Eventually I ended up back at his office, primarily as insurance issues blocked other options.
I was originally referred to his partner, Dr. Rangraj by my PCP. However the first time I met Rangraj I was rather turned off by his lack of personal connection.
As luck would have it, Dr. Maffucci was the Dr. assigned to do my surgery, and was involved in the follow up when I faced a bleeding situation post-op.
Dr. Maffucci is wonderfully patient, kind and down-to-earth. He is definitely NOT mightier than Thou, as many doctors are.
