My name is Danielle, I am 22 years old, and I have been overweight for as long as I can remember. It took me 2.5 years to make the decision to pursue WLS, and in April 2009, I started the process. At my first appointment, I discovered that I had reached an all-time high of 378 lbs. I was so disappointed in myself that day, and promised myself that I would never see that number again. I had RNY on September 14, 2009. My goal weight is 170 lbs.
