My very best wishes to you!!!!!!!!!! May all of your sweetest dreams come true. I had my open rny in 2001 at age 53 also!! I have lost 95 lbs so far. My husband, 58, had his open rny in Oct 2001 and has lost 200 lbs!!!!!!!! YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
