I know its been awhile an to all those who have encouraged me an had me in your praise i am officially sleeved Jan 13th 2015God is awesome!!!

Oh my goodness went to my surgeon  consultation on the 17. thought i was gonna be able to schedule my surgery date the surgery scheduler says" i need one more doc visit to be cleared also i have abnormal thyroid test and the nurse is on vacation"". I wanted an ok to take the test on my thyroids again before the nurse comes back but she won't answer her pager of course i cant blame her shes on vacation!!! This makes me feel like i'm being held up. The nurse an i talked about the thyroids test before she left i told her that my primary care doctor wanted to prescribe some meds for it, but she says no there's no need for u to add more meds to what u already have besides when u do get surgery u will lose an extreme amount of weight an the thyroid problem should subside. Im trying to be patient,and not to selfish even though i feel like its all about me the world still turns an patient is a virtue. With this being typed into a blog i feel better to all those who are supporting me in my journey thank so much for ur kind words.

Today is the day i see my surgeon who will be doing my sleeve. Im so excited   Hoping for a surgery date @ that time 

Hey lovelies thanks for all your words of encouraging responses to my last blog,

My nutrition class was interesting i was in a room with 7 others who are on the same track i am so i didn't feel outta place i fit right in!!!

The first class was short but sweet mostly the instructions was on how to count calories basically telling us how important it is to read those food labels, what's good and bad fats, how important protein, fiber and portion sizes are. The instructor said "she wanted us to start a food journal"!!!yikes!! lol she weighed me on the scale, gave me a sign-in log for every time we make a meeting it documents the date and signature of instructor.

It also stated all the appointments that i've made with other doctors, so im well on my way completing all the steps for my surgery.

I have a weight lose buddy now her name is miss Yvette she is a handful lol.

My next appointment is the 12th of this month next nutrition class in sept 

Today i am feeling drained everything is aching on me lol include my dairyaire, my ankles or my "cankles"(as my children call it lol has  swollen guess i'll just prop them up for awhile because i have to muster up the strength for tomorrow its hard for me to walking long lengths of time.

yall pray for me and ill continue to pray you's..Im on my way nothing can stop me  

I love this website!! i enjoy reading about the joy and change that is happening in the vsg community all the before an after pics. It just makes me so hopeful, motivates me to keep pushing forward toward my goal for surgery to a healthier me !!!

I feel pretty good today!!! Just found out i have thyroid problems, but hey im not complaining because a plan for a healthier me is on the way! 

I'm believing  in God to bring me out focused and healthier.. Im not WORRIED ABOUT NOTHING.....

I dont know why but today i felt very down in the dumps, i feel like my surgery date isn't coming fast enough i'm so excited that im kinda becoming impatient.

My First nutrition class is August 7th.

Ive been looking threw my instructional  an getting familiar with the processes, that sort of eases me an puts everything back into perspective.
