It's Monday, two days to go, and I'm feeling really good. We took my measurments tonight. I'm down 12 lbs .
So here's the scoop:

I've got all my vits, and stuff.
I'm ready to go.

Optifast--oh my

Well, I've started my optifast. Today is day 2 and I am starving. This is cruel. I keep catching myself browsing through the fridge and cubboards. I know I can't have these things, but I don't even think before I act. Guess why I am so large. I have been mindlessly eating all my life. So during this two weeks, I have to learn to think about my food without thinking about food. It's hard. But I can do this.

Well it's only 27 days till I have my RNY, 13 days till I start the OPTIFAST. I am not looking forward to that,. I have bought some davinci syrups to make it taste better.
I am really enjoying the company of the women I've met through the Brampton coffee group. Three of us are doing Aquafit. I love it. They are giving lots of encouragement and ideas for after my surgery. I am getting very excited.

Well, only 47 days til the big one on October 23. I have found the time has just flown by. We are going up to Muskoka this weekend to close down my parents trailer for the last time. It's kind of sad, they have had the place for 25 years. My kids have spend every summer there. But my parents ore getting older, and the kids have grown up and moved on. Everyone is busy so there is no time to spend up there. As a result the decision was made to close it down. I think the price of gas had a lot to do with it.
Anyway, as usual, my parents have planned a big food based celebration for tonight. I am going to enjoy it, but it's always in the back of my mind, This is the last one.
I'll be on Optifast over thanksgiving. This is another huge food fest. We have been having a family reunion with a potluck for over 40 years. It has gotten really large, as my cousins, my brothers and I have all had children. We now rent a hall every year in Copeland for the party. My husband will cook two large turkeys, the stuffing and the gravey. I am determined not to let it get to me. I'm going to bring a large green salad and my lemon vinegarette dressing. Oh yeah, water and crystal light.
Enough for now.
