***UPDATE ON MYSELF*** Hello, Everyone! I had to tell everyone that I had an appointment with Dr Scriber (plastic surgeon) yesterday. I am aiming to have a tt in March of 2004. It will be my 2 yr anniversary from my gastric bypass. I still have those last 20lbs to lose so I have until March to work on it. The Dr explained to me that he could not do a tight tt due to the incision from my bypass. I had my spleen removed at that time so my incision is large(like an upside down "V"). The Dr said he will have to be very careful so that I do not have problems with the blood flow going to the middle of my belly. It would make some serious issues if he cuts off the blood flow to this area. I am so thankful of his concerns for my good health. I told him I was concerned that the fat would still roll over the waistline when I sit down. He said because he could not make the lower part so tight that he would lipo above the belly button to remove fat and stop it from rolling over. He was very informative and answered all of my questions. I was quoted approx. $5,000 for this procedure, which I thought was a good price. So, I guess I have I about 6 months to tone and tighten AND lose 20lbs!! My life is looking so much better and it did 17 months ago. I am also working on my anxiety issues and trying to stay focused on my new life and moving forward. God Bless you all!

~*~I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all ~*~Hugs~*~

Debbie- Congratulations on your loss of 60 LBS! That's terrific! Congratulations too on getting your scale demon exorcised! I had to do the same thing! Have fun cleaning out your closet! Maybe put some stuff on the Clothing Exchange?

I am 3 months post-op now and have lost 41lbs. It really feels good to be able to move and get around. It has really given me confidence and self esteem in myself(even this at this stage of my journey). I know I am still in the honeymoon stage of the journey, but it still feels great!! I treated myself to an eyebrow waxing and new nail polish yesterday. I just had to brag and tell everyone it was and is well worth the journey!! God Bless everyone on their own journey.
