Skinny friends

Ok so today I went shopping with two of my skinny friends one a size 2 and the other a size 12 . I did not buy anything because we were not in the big girl store. I did have fun but, did feel a little uncomfortable. They ask if I like the jeans and I said you know I won’t get a leg in that jean maybe my arm but not my leg. It really something when my small size friends can just go in to a store get something and just leave, not me I can never do that I have to try it on because it might not fit. Just had to talk about this cause it sometimes get to me that I can’t really enjoy shopping with my friends because we will have to shop in different store just can’t wait to have this surgery so I can get my life back. Thank OH have a good weekend.

Did your have support when your decided to have surgery

I am in a relationship with my partner of 4 years, when I decided in June to look in to WLS she was total against it and still is, am being told am lazy I need to excise and diet, I need to go running jogging and stop taking the easy way out. I think it is totally wrong for her not to support me. I know I will have to make the best decisions for me. Any advice will be grateful. thanks

Now let me go back, for years I have been trying to lost weight and was unsuccessful I was never an overweight child I had a beautiful body until I had my first child 19 years ago and each child after that I gain more weight. I will go on and off diet and could not stuck to it .last year I was told I had diabetes and had to lost the weight I was 254 then and I went down to 220 I was told diabetes is now borderline but now I have high blood pressure knees and back pain. I also gain 10 ponds back so that’s when I decided to have WLS…. it’s funny how people can look at you and tell you they don’t thing you need it why do that to your body but at the same time they don’t know how you feel. I am a size 19/20 or maybe an 18 just because I might not look that big so they say don’t mean am not over weight…..My BMI is a 42. I came on here to get support from people who can understand and relate to how I feel, I am so scare of complication afterward do need to surgery but don’t need any serious complication.
